Learn to Meditate

In this course, you will learn how to become a self-sufficient meditator through 3 consecutive 90 minute sessions led by a certified teacher in the 1 Giant Mind Being Meditation technique, an effortless, natural, and highly beneficial form of meditation. It is a seated, silent, eyes-closed technique practiced for 15-20 minutes once or twice per day.

Upon completion of the course, you will be equipped with the knowledge and practice to be a self-sufficient meditator with an enjoyable and easy practice as well as have access to follow-up support and group meditations.

Throughout the 3 days we will cover the following topics and more:

  • How to meditate and experience deep mental rest
  • How to make meditation a daily habit that unlocks many benefits
  • How regular meditation deepens all of our relationships by first strengthening our relationship with ourselves, giving us the capacity to change things that once felt too difficult to address.

Course Outline

Day 1: The first session will instruct you on how to practice the being technique. Once you have received the instruction, we will go straight into a meditation together. Participants will be encouraged to share their experiences, and the instructor will comment on these experiences, as it will help you gain a deeper understanding of the technique. Then, we will discuss best practices for meditation and assign home practice with plenty of time for Q & A.

Day 2: We will review your first experiences doing the technique on your own. Then, we will dive into another meditation together and review our experiences again. You will then learn many tips and tricks to make meditation a daily habit with more time for Q&A.

Day 3: We will have the same format of reviewing the home practice, meditating together again and discussing our experiences. There will be more time for Q & A and a deeper understanding of what 'being' is and how connecting with being through this meditation technique can enable many changes in various aspects of your life. We will wrap up and everyone will be newly minted meditators.

This course can be held via Zoom, in person, in groups, or in private one-on-one sessions at a variety of price ranges starting at $199 USD for the full 3 day, online class experience.

Online Class Requirements

To ensure a focused and supportive learning environment, online students must join from a stable device and connection, remain on camera, attend all sessions on time, and participate from a quiet, uninterrupted space.

Virtual classes have the following requirements:

  • You must join from a laptop or desktop computer with a reliable high speed connection. Tablets or iPads are allowed only if positioned at eye level and kept fully stable connected via high speed Wi-Fi. Phones are not permitted without prior approval from the teacher.
  • Students must be comfortable using Zoom and know how to join and participate in meetings.
  • Video must remain on for the full duration of each session.
  • Ability to focus without distraction or multitasking is required.
  • You must attend from a quiet, stationary location where you will not be interrupted by people, pets, environmental noise, or movement. This includes not participating while driving or walking.
  • Parents of young children and pet owners must ensure they will not be interrupted during the three 90-minute sessions.
