Start your meditation journey with live online classes led by experienced teachers.
Day 1: Welcome and introductions- The first session will instruct you on how to practice the being technique. Once you have received the instruction, we will go straight into a meditation together. Participants will be encouraged to share their experiences, and the instructor will comment on these experiences, as it will help you gain a deeper understanding of the technique. Then, we will have time for Q & A. Before the end of that first session, we will discuss best practices for meditation and assign home practice.
Day 2: We will review home practice and the technique. Then, we will dive into another meditation together and review our experiences again. There will again be time for Q & A, and we will discuss how to make meditation a daily habit.
Day 3: We will have the same format of reviewing the home practice, meditating together again and discussing our experiences. There will be more time for Q & A and a deeper understanding of what 'being' is. We will wrap up and everyone will be newly minted meditators.
It's strongly advised to log in from a tablet or laptop with stable Wi-Fi connection. Please ensure that you will be uninterrupted for the entirety of the three 90 min sessions. To make sure we don't disturb students, strict on time policy. This course is a $50 investment.
Those who participate in the three day meditation course will have access to ongoing group meditation sessions with our certified teacher.
Meditation shouldn't require a subscription, a phone, or a charged set of earbuds. Most apps are built for instant gratification, not inner stillness. Notifications spike your dopamine and keep you locked in a cycle of distraction. And when the business model depends on daily engagement, your practice only happens if your phone and EarPods are nearby and charged.
And at the core, apps keep you in a doing context — pressing play, following prompts, trying to "do it right." Deep mental rest is about being — shifting out of activity and into effortless awareness.
Worse still, the very apps you trust for calm live inside an attention economy designed to hijack your focus and sell it. That's the opposite of learning to direct your own attention with clarity and freedom.
Apps are like an inch deep and a mile wide. You get endless menus of guided recordings that appear to cover everything — sleep, stress, focus, happiness — but the time you spend on each is shallow. Ten minutes here, ten minutes there, but nothing that goes deep enough to create lasting change.
If you really want the benefits everyone talks about — less stress, more clarity, stronger resilience — you need to go the opposite direction: an inch wide and a mile deep. That means learning one reliable technique and practicing it consistently until it becomes part of you.
Learning meditation is the easy bit. Integrating into our daily lives is the hard part.
Think of it this way: Doing a guided meditation when you're stressed is like taking an aspirin for a headache. It may help in the moment, but the relief doesn't last. A sustainable meditation practice is like taking a daily vitamin. It builds resilience over time and prevents the stress “headache” from showing up in the first place. All those claims you hear about the benafits of mediation come from long term practice. This is where a teacher makes all the difference.
Many people tell us the same story: they've downloaded apps, tried guided meditations, even stuck with them for a while — but nothing seemed to last. The practice never stuck. It was only after working with a teacher who could answer their questions and guide them through the common challenges that they were able to build a meditation habit they could sustain on their own. That's the difference a teacher makes. You don't just learn about meditation. You learn how to actually practice it, supported by a community to keep you motivated — for life.
